           Child Care Plus played host to adorable baby chicks hatched from our egg incubation project.  We were delivered the fertilized eggs, incubator, and a brooder and supplies for the chicks when they hatched.  The children engaged in many learning activities throughout the stages of this project.  Once the chicks hatched, the children were able to hold them.  We kept our baby chicks until the students could see their feathers start to come in.  The chicks were then brought back to the farm.
