Pet Week

      During Pet Week, Child Care Plus had a food/supply drive for the RISPCA. Thank you to all our families who brought in much needed supplies for these homeless animals.  Miss Laurelin from the RISPCA came to our Center to talk about what our pets need to be happy and healthy. Miss Laurelin brought a special friend with her, Sunshine the bunny!  The children were excited to pet this cute little rabbit.  Also, Claudia Cooper and her dog, Gracie, came to talk to the children about Gracie's special job.  Gracie is a certified therapy dog. Mrs. Cooper and Gracie visit nursing homes and schools to bring smiles to people's faces!  Gracie also showed the children some of her tricks!
